Pentire

Pentire is an indie ensemble crafting catchy pop tunes tailored for the post-jangle generation, through the smiles and sweat of the mosh pit. Hailing from Herefordshire, the quartet spin tales of student life, small-town nostalgia, and the vibrancy of youth amidst the haze of cheap lager. Inspired by the sounds of The Killers, Paolo Nutini, and Stereophonics, lead vocalist and chief lyricist Jack, alongside his childhood friend Owen, founded the band in the tranquil confines of Ross-on-Wye. Their circle expanded when they crossed paths with drummer Jake and bassist Jacob during their university days, solidifying the lineup that now commands sold-out venues across the UK.
In 2023, the band marked significant milestones in their journey. They embarked on a national tour alongside rising acts, conquered their first headline tour across the UK, and unveiled their latest EP, ‘Now In A Minute’. Notably, all three of their recent singles received airplay on BBC Radio 1’s esteemed ‘Future Sounds’ show, hosted by Jack Saunders, further cementing their presence in the contemporary musical landscape. This year, they’ve played across the UK on yet another headline tour, with sold-out dates in London, Southampton, Leeds, Birmingham, Newcastle and Manchester. Over Spring/Summer, they’ve performed at Beavertown Gamma Ray Presents in Manchester, Live At Leeds ‘In The City’, Dot2Dot Nottingham and Y Not? Festival.
